Asberry “Tony” Rakestraw Jr.
Founder, President and CEO of SkyTech Security

Asberry “Tony” Rakestraw Jr. is the founder, president and CEO of SkyTech Security Services. As the son of a U.S. veteran, Tony has deep roots of military regimentation and learned the importance of protecting and serving, where he later served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. Given his military background and family roots, Tony’s desire to protect and serve grew even stronger, which later evolved into the creation of SkyTech Security.
Tony has extensive experience in sales and marketing, where he managed sales operations and profit margins for several Fortune 500 companies, including Pitney Bowes, Eastman Kodak, and Unisys Corporation. He later moved into the government sector and served as the Director of Information Technology for the State of Illinois, where he lead the department’s computer security through the Y2K era, before starting his own business in protection security services.
Tony obtained his bachelor’s degree at Governors State University, located in University Park, Illinois. He is very active in the local communities, where he supports organizations that promote diversity in the workforce and entrepreneurship.
Anna Rakestraw
Vice President, SkyTech Security
Anna Rakestraw serves as the vice president of SkyTech Security. While overseeing the overall day-to-day Human Resources operations, Mrs. Rakestraw is responsible for developing effective strategies and procedures in hiring qualified personnel and promoting employees’ growth and performance within the organization.
Prior to SkyTech, Mrs. Rakestraw has held several positions in marketing and sales for Fortune 500 corporations, where she acquired a structured approach toward workforce and employee development. With a strong background in the financial industry, she has hired and trained supporting staff, as well as organized a number of sales meetings, tradeshows and other regional events for senior executives.
Mrs. Rakestraw is committed to sharing her insight and advice to finding and securing employment with those in need of jobs. She has worked with a variety of nonprofit organizations and presented at several community events, where she shared her own personal experience in the workforce and how to dress and act for success. Her contributions were recognized by The Chicago Defender, where she received the 2011 Women of Excellence Award. She is also a member of Alliance of Business Leaders & Entrepreneurs (A.B.L.E.).
Brian McCall
General Manager of Operations

Mr. McCall has spent the past 15 years with a variety of positions in the security industry. Mr. McCall is responsible for ensuring that operationally, all of our client’s expectations are being met through various departments. Field Operations is the most important critical and his background with a fortune 500 security organization allows him to have a significant impact on Post Order execution, Scheduling and candidate selections.

Director

Mr. Evans brings a wealth of knowledge from many years of working for fortune 500 companies over the past 35 years. Mr. Evans ensures that all compliances are met for each jurisdiction that SkyTech has presence. Additionally, his expertise in state and federal government is vital to our commitments of executing within the guidelines of statements of work.
